THE BOY WHO WASN'T BORN OF WOMAN

In the book of Isaiah, chapter 6, we see a prophecy about a coming savior. The prophet Isaiah was speaking about a time when the people of Israel would be in trouble. They had forgotten their God and were living in sinful ways.

The people were so lost that they didn't even know what to do. Isaiah saw the future and knew that the coming of the savior would be a sign to the people.
In this passage, Isaiah talks about a boy who would be born to a virgin. This boy would be different than any other person on earth. He would be a God-man and he would bring salvation to the people.

THE WEDDING AT CANA

In a short time, Jesus had turned the water into wine at the wedding at Cana. This was a sign that he was powerful and able to do great things. Jesus was also teaching his disciples that he was the Messiah, the Son of God.

There are many Bible verses that talk about Jesus coming to earth. One of the most famous is found in Matthew 8:5-13. In this passage, Jesus is traveling along a road and comes across a centurion who is suffering from a fever. Jesus asks the centurion if he is able to walk.

The centurion replies that he can't and asks Jesus to heal him. Jesus then asks the centurion if he believes in him. The centurion replies that he does. Jesus then says that he has come to heal the sick and to free them from their sins.

The centurion then asks Jesus to do something for his servant. Jesus asks the centurion what his servant's name is. The centurion replies that his servant's name is legion. Jesus then says that he will heal his servant.

"And he said to them, "But now, let him who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let him who has no sword take his knapsack, and let him who has no knapsack go into the city."
"But those who had swords took them, to cut down those who were without arms. "
"And there came to him those who were selling doves, and they sold them for two copper coins. "

        THE LORD'S PRAYER

"Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

The Lord's Prayer is a prayer that is often recited by Christians. The prayer is believed to have been given to Jesus by his father, God. The prayer is a petition for God's kingdom to come, for his will to be done on earth, for forgiveness of sins, and for protection from evil.
